Federation of Master Builders
Roger Gash Contactors Limited is a Member of the FMB which is a trade association that promotes professionalism and high quality workmanship among small and medium sized building firms throughout the UK. Builders have to prove their business prior to being accepted as a member and agree to the FMB Code of Practice which means you can expect professional and ethical working procedures and practice from the FMB Builder you have selected.
Health and Safety
We employ a fully qualified Business Manager to oversee all Health & Safety and training matters. He regularly carries out unannounced site inspections and risk assessments on our behalf to ensure that all training is received and updated as required.
Health and Safety Policy
Roger Gash Contractors Limited fully recognises the duties placed on it by the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all other relevant legislation. The Company recognises that it has a duty to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees, so far as is reasonably practicable. Roger Gash Contractors Limited is committed to ensuring that these obligations are met and wherever reasonably practicable shall exceed them.
The Company believes that the provision of a safe working environment and systems will enhance the company's health and safety climate. It is therefore considered that excellent health and safety performance directly contributes to our commercial success.
The company recognises the duties it has not only to its staff, but also to all trainees, those obtaining work experience through school programmes, visitors, sub-contractors and any others who may be affected by its activities.
The Company recognises that all employees must adhere to their duties under the health & Safety at work Act 1974and therefore we ensure that employees do not endanger themselves or others working with them. Neither must they interfere with anything that has been provided for health & Safety. This is enforced through regular training and communication with all affected by the activities of the company.
